POWER-23x35 in. This piece is an abstract representation of power. Its illusion of symmetry tricks the viewers eye to think that it’s the same image on booth sides but its colors and shape are very different. The main focal points in the center create a powerful sense of movement and energy. In addition the balance between sharp objects and smooth lines create harmonious rhythm.

NYC ZOO- 23x35 in.NYC zoo is a dynamic painting on a technical and conceptual level. The viewers eye is immediately attracted to the main focal point of the two animals. The lion in the foreground roars to signify the negative energy and frustration underground transportation creates for many New Yorkers. The tiger which leaps represents a pedestrians vulnerability while traveling in New York. The escalator which reseeds into the upper right hand side of the canvas represents a symbol of hope and salvation from the chaos of MTA transit.
